Panel Assembler- Day Shift

Job Summary Panel Services builds electrical control panels for customer applications. All electrical control panels vary by size and complexity and are built to Engineering and UL508A specifications. Employees will be responsible for but not limited to the mounting, wiring, cutting, and assembling of various components required in the build process. Duties & Responsibilities Accurately measure, drill, punch and cut metal enclosures as required. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings, and physically wire according to them. Requires occasional lifting of 25‑50 pounds and use of hand tools on a daily basis (8‑10 hour shift). Install components, crimp connections, and route wiring with attention to detail while meeting specifications. Produce assemblies, apply labels, and package peripherals. Use power tools and hand tools while standing 8‑10 hour a day. Actively learn roles and responsibilities and work under supervision. Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity. Use computer ERP system to perform transactions. Assist in verifying stock accuracy with occasional cycle counts. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Stand for long periods during an 8‑hour shift. Work quickly while adhering to quality and production standards in a fast‑paced environment and learn quickly. Skill and Educational Requirements High School Diploma or related experience and/or technical training preferred. Computer skills including MS Office, e‑mail, and current Windows OS. Must be able to use power tools and hand tools including drills, electric screwdrivers, crimping tools, jigsaws, etc. Work Schedule Hourly, Non‑Exempt Production Department – Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. with a ½ hour lunch and two 10 minute breaks. Overtime, including Saturdays, as required to meet business demands. Work Authorization Copeland will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
