Outpatient Physical Therapist

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self while upholding professional standards and organizational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and timely.
• Participate in student program as assigned, providing a positive learning environment.
• Develop individualized professional development plans and pursue ongoing education.
• Understand and apply performance improvement methodologies within the organization.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• 6 months of outpatient clinical experience
• CPR Certification
• Active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed

Schedule

This position operates on a standard 5x8 schedule starting June 29th.
