Senior Program Manager – Lead High-Value Government Aviation Programmes

We're supporting a leading aerospace MRO organisation in the search for a Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale government and defence aviation contracts. This is a senior leadership opportunity with full programme ownership, including P&L responsibility, customer engagement, subcontractor management and operational execution.

Your Mission as Senior Program Manager:

Lead the successful delivery of complex aviation programmes, ensuring contractual, technical, cost and schedule objectives are achieved. You will act as the primary customer interface, manage key subcontractor relationships, drive programme performance through KPI management, oversee reporting and compliance requirements, and support future business growth initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
• 10+ years' experience supporting U.S. Government or Defence programmes
• 5+ years' experience in a Program Management role with direct P&L responsibility
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS contracting environments
• Experience working directly with Government or Defence customers
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and finance
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and leadership skills
• LEAN mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence

Location: Florida, USA (On-Site)

✈️ Travel: Occasional travel to customer and supplier locations
