Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Miller Behavioral Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments for individuals, couples, and families to identify their psychological needs and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual support as needed.
\n
• Addressing a range of challenges affecting patients, including but not limited to issues such as alcohol abuse, past trauma, grief and loss, communication difficulties, and familial conflicts.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve family dynamics, aid recovery, and promote mental health.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include diverse adult and child/adolescent populations facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with families experiencing dynamics such as blended family situations, adjustment issues from separation and divorce, and systemic conflicts that require careful and sensitive intervention. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping families improve communication and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
