Abcor Home Health is growing! We are seeking a detail-oriented Participant Access Specialist to join our Operational Excellence team.

This role is responsible for managing client authorizations, eligibility verification, referral processing, and documentation to ensure clients receive uninterrupted care. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Process client referrals and service authorizations
\n
• Verify eligibility and maintain authorization documentation
\n
• Manage authorization renewals and updates
\n
• Enter and audit data in HHAeXchange (HHAX) and company systems
\n
• Coordinate with Billing, Branch Managers, and Care Teams
\n
• Resolve authorization-related issues and billing holds
\n
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance audits
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• High School Diploma or GED required
\n
• Healthcare, home care, intake, authorization, or insurance verification experience preferred
\n
• Experience with HHAX or EVV systems preferred
\n
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
