Hourly - Office Full-Time Tucson, AZ, US AGM is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our accounting team! This position plays an important role in ensuring that vendor invoices are processed accurately and payments are issued in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and financial documentation in a structured office environment. This role works closely with internal departments and vendors alike, to review invoices, maintain accurate financial records, and support the day-to-day accounts payable process. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval Enter invoices and payment information into the accounting system Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation Prepare and process vendor payments according to established schedules Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and vendor information Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, or discrepancies Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed Assist with month-end closing tasks and financial record maintenance Maintain organized accounting files and documentation Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting department Education & Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with an Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (2-4 years of AP experience) Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams This position is set in a generally quiet office environment . Employees may sit or stand while performing their work. This is an on-site position and is not remote. Reporting Structure This position reports directly to AGM’s Accounting Line Supervisor and works closely with our Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . The AP Clerk will collaborate with accounting leadership to support accurate financial recordkeeping, timely vendor payments, and the overall efficiency of the accounts payable process.
