Responsibilities Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical, and circuit elements. Repair unserviceable optical and infrared components. Inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances. Perform quality control measures. Test instruments and navigational controls, read technical diagrams and manuals, and replace equipment parts. Inspect, maintain, and repair unserviceable units across TOW, DRAGON, and Bradley Fighting Vehicle systems. As experience increases, supervise and train other soldiers, provide technical assistance, install equipment modifications, and conduct quality control. Skills You’ll Gain Principles of electronics.
