The Cashier / Barista role is integral to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced eatery. You will manage customer orders, operate the register, prepare coffee and beverages using manual espresso machines, organize orders for take out and delivery, maintain a clean and organized front area. Working within a small team, this position handles moderate to high customer traffic during fixed shifts, ensuring all guests enjoy a welcoming and efficient experience.
Some of Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and operate cash register accurately
- Prepare coffee and other beverages
- Package and organize food orders efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area
- Manage stock to ensure availability of supplies
- Handle cash transactions responsibly
- Deliver attentive and friendly customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in retail or food service
- Proficiency with cash register operation
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
