Key Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Physical Therapist license
• AZ Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations or in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to design and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and compliance with federal, state, and district regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to eligible students
• Evaluate and document students’ physical abilities, progress, and therapy outcomes
• Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
• Educate staff and families on supporting student mobility and independence
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
