Registered Nurse - Orthopedics & Spine Specialty

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating every 3rd weekend.

Job Description Join a fast-paced 36-bed unit specializing in orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and traumas. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will provide high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced technology for communication and patient management. This unit is part of a busy Level 2 trauma center with a strong focus on employee engagement and teamwork.

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including wound care and dressing changes. Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and other equipment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Utilize mobile communication technology to enhance team collaboration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Kansas RN license is required. BLS certification is mandatory. Experience in acute care, medical-surgical or telemetry units is required. NIH certification is preferred.
