Job Title: Data Architect, Client Integrations & Migrations

Location: Remote (US) 9-5 EST

Duration: 6+ months plus extension or conversion

Job Description:

Owns the integrity and design of the data model underneath P3's multi-tenant configuration system - ID allocation, database migration safety, and cross-program data consistency - and personally runs data migrations when onboarding clients moving off a legacy system. Client-facing on data specifically: sits directly with manufacturer stakeholders to work out how their data gets migrated or extracted, rather than designing the pipeline from secondhand requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own ID allocation strategy and the safeguards that prevent ID collisions and protect already-deployed database migrations from being silently rewritten.
• Design and review database migrations generated by the configuration compiler for correctness and safety before they reach production.
• Catch and resolve data-identity drift (e.g., mismatched entity IDs across environments) before it becomes a production incident.
• Design and run one-off ETL/data-migration pipelines for new client onboarding, mapping legacy client data into the platform's schema.
• Work directly with manufacturer stakeholders and their technical/IT contacts to scope how existing data gets migrated or extracted - including feeding an external analytics system or integrating with a remote/third-party CRM the manufacturer uses - and turn that into a concrete plan.
• Partner with the Staff Configuration Platform Engineer on the shared data-model contract between the compiler and the production database.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong relational data modeling background, with production-scale PostgreSQL (or equivalent) experience.
• Hands-on EF Core (or equivalent ORM) migration experience in a multi-tenant system.
• Real ETL/data-migration experience - designing and running one-off legacy-to-new-schema pipelines, not just steady-state data modeling.
• Experience with ID/key allocation strategy in a distributed or multi-tenant system.
• Direct client-facing experience scoping data migration, extraction, or integration work with an external party - able to run that conversation with a manufacturer's IT/data team, understand their constraints (what an analytics system needs, what a remote CRM's API supports), and turn it into an executable plan without an intermediary translating.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare data experience (HIPAA-aware handling of PHI) strongly preferred.
