Industrial Unitary & Light Equipment Mechanic

We have an immediate opening for an embedded plant‑based unitary and light HVAC equipment mechanic. Chiller experience a plus. Ten (10) years minimum overall experience. Five (5) years of experience in a heavy commercial or industrial setting desired. Proficient diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills. Chiller experience would be a plus. Assigned to single plant in Deer Park area. Schedule: (4) days per week, ten-hours per day. Overtime anticipated along with paid rotating on‑call schedule. Qualifications & Requirements Must be able to pass drug test (alcohol, urine, and hair‑follicle) including pre‑hire, annual, for‑cause, and random testing. Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check. Must be able to complete and pass all safety training. EPA Card. TWIC Card required. Pay & Technician Level $42 - $48+ per hour, commensurate with experience. We are seeking a Journeyman level HVAC Service technician. Prior union membership not required – joining is a simple process we can assist with. Job type Full-time. Tuesday – Friday (4 days per week, 10‑hours per day). Occasional overtime.
