Customer Service Representative - Chicago, IL

Location: Downtown Chicago, IL | 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours

Job Description:

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
Manage a portfolio of accounts and outstanding balances
Speak with customers regarding personal, business, and use-tax accounts
Negotiate payment arrangements and potential solutions
Document conversations and account activity accurately
Navigate challenging conversations professionally
Maintain compliance with applicable collection policies and regulation

Looking for:

High school diploma required
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Excellent verbal communication and computer skills
Comfortable handling approximately 100–150 calls per day
Comfortable working with difficult or frustrated customers
Strong attendance and reliability
Previous collections, credit, billing, or high-volume call center experience is highly preferred

Additional details:

Monday-Friday only
No weekend shifts
First two weeks of training are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Potential schedules afterward include 8:00-5:00, 8:30-5:30, or 9:00-6:00
