You will join our Aerodynamics team to contribute to the aerodynamic performance development of our vehicles. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.The Role:Contribute to the aerodynamic design and development of world class vehiclesDesign, optimize, test, validate and implement into production innovative aerodynamic solutionsContribute to the development of robust yet efficient Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) processes to perform accurate vehicle aerodynamic simulationsWork interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment, directly interfacing with the design studio and other engineers, and working with suppliersQualifications:Generally, requires 5 + years of related experience for a Senior Engineer level and 8+years of related experience for a Technical Specialist level.Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aerodynamics EngineeringExperience in automotive or motorsport essential Solid understanding of aerodynamic fundamentals, CFD techniques and wind tunnel testingAn ability to create CAD models to an excellent standardWorking knowledge of various CFD softwareExperience with wind tunnel and track testingA team player attitude and Outstanding communication and reporting skillsAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it! Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
