Chemist I
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Chemist I to perform laboratory testing activities including wet chemistry and instrumental analysis. The role supports monograph testing and failure analysis while ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting turnaround time targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing activities including wet chemistry and instrumental analysis per protocol
- Monitor project backlog and schedule work to meet quoted turnaround times
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and enter testing data into LIMS system
- Perform equipment calibrations and environmental condition monitoring in laboratory
- Support quality system improvements through documentation and corrective action processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- Experience with wet chemistry techniques such as gravimetry, titrimetry, colorimetry
- Familiarity with analytical instruments: HPLC, GC, ICP, ICP-MS, IC
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, DEA, EPA, FDA regulatory guidance
- Proficiency with LIMS data entry and laboratory record management
