Job Summary:
The Postpartum Floor Nurse position is based in Anaheim, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the postpartum unit, supporting maternal and newborn health, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of performing a variety of clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensed as a Registered Nurse (in the state where care is provided); certifications including Basic Life Support and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program; demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, High Risk medication administration (Magnesium/Oxytocin/Insulin), urine point of care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, IStat, adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitoring including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn, IV administration and maintenance for newborns, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers, as well as supporting gynecological and maternal teaching and post-operative bladder training.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience; minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience; minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
