Job Title: Business Analyst Requirements Engineering 13+ yrs Exp

Location: ALBANY, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Experience performing requirements gathering and business analysis, including developing and maintaining written requirements documentation to support system design and implementation.
• Experience determining appropriate methods for capturing and documenting requirements based on the development methodology used for business systems, including engaging stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), process owners, and end users to elicit and document needs, expectations, constraints, and external interfaces.
• Experience developing business requirements by translating business needs, expectations, constraints, and interfaces into clear and understandable documentation for both clients and technical teams using techniques such as brainstorming, document analysis, facilitated meetings, focus groups, interface analysis, interviews, observation, prototyping, requirements workshops, reverse engineering, and surveys/questionnaires.
• Experience developing requirements for solution and solution component design, incorporating requirements resulting from architectural and design decisions, and defining quality attributes, constraints, and other non-functional requirements.
• Experience establishing evaluation and acceptance criteria for requirements, managing requirements scope, obtaining stakeholder commitment, and identifying project and requirements inconsistencies through requirements management, defect tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience analyzing and validating requirements to ensure they are complete, feasible, realizable, and verifiable, while identifying key requirements that significantly impact cost, schedule, functionality, risk, or performance.
• Experience preparing and presenting requirements in verbal, written, visual, and graphical formats to effectively communicate requirements to technical and business audiences.
• Experience with application testing, test planning, and defect tracking, including collaborating with testing leads to develop requirements-based testing strategies and considerations to validate that business requirements and business problems are successfully addressed.
