Maintenance TechnicianShift: Day Shift, 12 hour shiftsPurpose:Repair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.Responsibilities:Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilitiesMaintain control and motor systemsDiagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective partsPerform basic welding and fabrication as neededSupport & comply with safety & environmental guidelinesCommunicate daily with Production and Shipping ManagersCommunicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance teamDrive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operationsResearch and purchase parts as needed for machine break downs and/or spare parts replacementImprove machine up time by ensuring all CM's and PM's are properly performed and documentedQualifications:Basic math skillsBilingual preferredGood English language skillsWelding skillsGood communication skillsStrong mechanical knowledgeStrong electrical knowledgeBasic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams
