Salary: $124,800 - 145,600 per year Requirements:

• Advanced SQL skills, including experience using Alteryx or similar tools to detect data anomalies
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn data into useful information for analytics
• Strong analytical, investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including tracing data issues across complex systems from source through reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technologies, adapt to new methods, and work to tight deadlines in an Agile environment

• 5–7 years of IT-related experience, such as business analysis or quality assurance

• Preferred: 2+ years of financial or investment industry knowledge
• Preferred: Commercial real estate finance experience and working knowledge of loan management systems
• Preferred: CCIM, MAI, CPA, LOMA, or another industry accreditation
• Preferred: Insurance, reinsurance, or financial services experience
• Preferred: Python experience for data analysis, automation, or scripting; experience with APIs or integrations such as REST and JSON is also a plus

• Develop, validate, document, and maintain business and functional requirements, and lead structured walkthroughs with business and IT teams
• Own business and technical requirements for support and enhancements to the Commercial Mortgage Data Warehouse model
• Translate business requirements into SQL statements
• Analyze data to triage data-model issues and examine source-system data to improve data quality
• Work with data architects, business sponsors, core system administrators, and report writers using Agile methods
• Partner with business teams to identify data issues, solutions, and opportunities to automate business rules and improve data quality
• Review application functionality, conduct gap analyses, identify enhancements, and apply configuration changes through an application management tool
• Create test plans and execute scripts for application and data-model changes
• Assess the feasibility of business requests and research possible approaches
• Answer questions from business and IT technical teams
• Track new and enhanced solutions, identify potential issues and business impacts, and recommend solutions within the mortgage data warehouse model
• Assist with task automation and process improvements using scripts or tools
• Help analyze, create, and test system integrations, including API- and file-based exchanges
• Investigate and resolve inbound and outbound data-feed issues supporting the PLM platform
• Respond to escalated user and help-desk calls
• Support the core commercial mortgage servicing and accounting platform
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and perform other duties as assigned

We are seeking a Technical/Business Analyst/Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire opportunity supporting accurate, reliable commercial mortgage data solutions across a PLM platform and related systems. The role operates within regulated financial systems and Agile or SDLC environments, with success measured by timely enhancements, improved data quality, and collaboration across business and IT. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis and convert to full-time employment after the contract period. The rate is $60–$70 per hour on W-2.
