Senior Systems Engineer - Data Ingest (TS/SCI w/Poly )

ResponsibilitiesThe project supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The work is performed at the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible hours.The Data Ingest team is seeking Systems Engineer to:Outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions. Uitilize a working knowledge of NiFi, be comfortable working in a Linux environment, interact with data ontologies (schemas), structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON), have database experience (MySQL/NoSQL) and analytic query experience with a platform. Work with numerous concurrent IC-provided data sets to identify, map and model data transformation routines supporting ingestion into the customer's corporate repositories and be able to document new and existing data flows supporting data routing implementations. A working knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements is highly desired, as well as experience with JAVA and Splunk.#MDFSPQualificationsBasic Qualifications: TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
