The Ford Agency is recruiting for a professional Billing Coordinator to join the DC office of a top law firm. This role is essential to the firm's commitment to client service and is an excellent fit for a candidate with direct billing experience in another top law firm. Fantastic communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a personality that thrives in a client-focused and fast paced culture are keys to a candidate's success with this team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepares accurate and complex client bills
- Monitor and update billing system
- Follow up with attorneys and other legal staff to ensure clients receive a timely response
- Create monthly reports and billing schedules
- Follow firm policies and procedures
Qualifications Include:
- 3+ years of hands on legal billing experience
- 5+ years of accounting or billing experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Aderant strongly preferred
- Professional communication and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
