We are looking for Caregivers with 2+ years of hands-on experience in a facility or in-home care setting. Your expertise will be put to meaningful use every single day as you provide essential support, comfort, and companionship.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building Meaningful Relationships: Be a trusted companion and a consistent, positive presence in a senior's life.
• Providing Expert Personal Care: Utilizing your skills in Hoyer lifts, bed baths, and comprehensive bed-bound care , as well as assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Essential Home Support: Preparing nutritious meals, assisting with light housekeeping, running errands, and providing reliable transportation.
• Promoting Health & Safety: Offering medication reminders and ensuring clients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Professional Communication: Acting as a key partner by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, their families, and the Home Instead team.
• Making a Lasting Impact: Helping seniors navigate the challenges of aging with dignity, compassion, and respect . Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia is strongly preferred.

Essential Qualifications: To ensure the highest quality of care for our seniors, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• At least 18 years of age .
• Must have weekend availability
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a facility or in-home care setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Hoyer lifts, bed baths, and bed-bound care .
• Comfortable assisting with personal care needs , including bathing, toileting, and incontinence support.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs .
• Ability to pass both a criminal background check and the Oregon ORCHARDS background check .
