Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse adult population on a 30-bed general medical/PCU unit with an average daily census of 30 patients
• Manage a variety of acute medical conditions including GI bleeds, pneumonia, sepsis, and patients requiring inotropic therapy for cardiac or renal disease
• Perform skilled nursing interventions including PIV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and administration of continuous drips (heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix, dobutamine)
• Monitor patients requiring cardiac monitoring, oxygen supplementation, and blood administration
• Document accurately using Cerner EMR; operate Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every 3rd weekend, every other holiday)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license or active compact RN license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or mixed medical acute care unit setting
• Experience managing continuous cardiac drips and cardiac monitoring
• Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing systems, and Philips monitors
