About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Asset Management to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company's Section 42 LIHTC portfolio, with a focus on portfolio risk management, asset performance, investor relations, compliance oversight, and operational excellence. This role requires a leader who can establish and manage departmental goals, budgets, and policies, and who is adept at collaborating with executive leadership to ensure that asset management initiatives align with business objectives. The Managing Director will also be tasked with leading a high-performing team, mentoring staff, and promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of experience in LIHTC asset management or a related industry, and a strong knowledge of Section 42 regulations and best practices. The role demands exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of maintaining strong portfolio performance, delivering accurate and timely investor communications, and achieving financial and operational objectives. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or advanced degree, industry designations, and experience with fund management and capital call administration.
