Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care across multiple hospital locations. Collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to promote optimal health outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients across various units, including CVICU, NICU, and PICU.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and interpret clinical data to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Educate and support patients families, providing clear communication regarding care plans and hospital procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
  
  
• 
  Float between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to different clinical environments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Arizona RN license or multistate license with the ability to establish licensure in Arizona before start.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Preferably have Level III or IV NICU hospital experience and childrens hospital experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
