Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Opportunity | Schenectady, NY We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join an Expense Team on a temporary basis. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on invoicing, data entry, account reconciliation, and expense-related records. Responsibilities Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner Perform data entry and maintain financial records related to expenses Reconcile accounts and help resolve discrepancies Utilize proprietary accounting software to manage and track transactions Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate reporting and smooth workflow Assist with general administrative and accounting support Qualifications 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with invoice matching and invoicing Strong data entry, accuracy, and organizational skills High School Diploma required Work Environment 100% onsite at company headquarters Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 40-hour work week with a 30-minute lunch Occasional overtime based on business needs Onsite café available for lunch This is a fully onsite position in Schenectady, NY Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Schenectady, NY. Pay Range $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
