Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and needs.
\n
• Collaborate with families to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring tailored strategies that promote the child’s development.
\n
• Monitor the implementation of IFSPs and assess outcomes, working as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Provide emotional and practical support to families, equipping them with resources and strategies that enhance their child's growth and development.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations throughout the service delivery process.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices in developing joint plans with families, adhering to Natural Learning Environment Practices to strengthen learning opportunities.
\n
• Implement developmentally appropriate techniques, including coaching models and natural environment teaching approaches, during interactions with children and families.
\n
• Establish positive rapport with children, their families, and team members to promote an atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
\n
• Maintain records and documentation in line with organizational policies, ensuring the health and safety of clients and staff at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly focuses on young children, particularly those experiencing developmental challenges or delays in their early years, namely ages birth to three. The LCSW will work closely with families, supporting their unique needs and helping them navigate the early intervention process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
\n
• Valid driver's license to facilitate travel for community resource connection.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a remote setting.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
