Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand each patient's specific needs.

• Collaborate with patients to craft individualized treatment plans that consider their personal goals, cultural values, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in one-on-one sessions as well as group settings.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and collaborate efficiently with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patients in acute distress receive appropriate care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to both clinic policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practices are met at all times.

• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families, enabling them to effectively manage their mental health conditions and understand available resources.

• Participate in an interdisciplinary team environment, contributing to treatment reviews and care coordination to enhance patient outcomes.

• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to measure treatment effectiveness and, when necessary, modify treatment strategies accordingly.

• Stay abreast of current mental health research and trends, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic practices to ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse group of pediatric and adolescent patients, many from underrepresented backgrounds. By providing tailored therapy that honors their cultural and social contexts, the LCSW will play a critical role in addressing various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, with a strong foundation in clinical practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
