Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to identify the needs of students.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, considering their individual goals, needs, and cultural backgrounds.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), across various formats including individual, family, and group sessions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services for students in acute emotional distress, ensuring coordination with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
\n
• Maintain rigorous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, adhering to clinic policies and legal guidelines.
\n
• Empower students and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with vital skills to manage their mental health effectively.
\n
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including educators, psychologists, and educational counselors, to provide comprehensive mental health care and promote school-wide mental health initiatives.

• Regularly assess and evaluate treatment efficacy, adjusting plans as necessary based on student progress and feedback.

• Continuously engage in professional development by staying current with mental health research, best practices, and emerging trends, enhancing treatment methodologies.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of patient information in compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, catering to those facing emotional challenges and mental health disorders. The LCSW will provide crucial support to these young individuals, enabling them to navigate their difficulties and succeed academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
