Job Overview:


We are seeking QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Point of Sale (POS) systems and software and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our POS applications through thorough testing.

Your future duties and responsibilities:


Responsibilities:


. Develop and execute detailed test cases to ensure quality and functionality of POS systems and software.
. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues in the testing phase.
. Collaborate with development teams to review requirements and design test strategies.
. Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
. Report test progress, issues, and results to key stakeholders regularly.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:


Qualifications:


. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
. 5-7 years of experience in manual software testing, specifically with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
. Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
. Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with test automation (a plus).
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 - $110,100.00.
