Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) across multiple projects. This position oversees clash detection and resolution, model updates, and coordination among architectural, structural, and MEP trades to support accurate and efficient construction delivery. The BIM Coordinator collaborates closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure models align with project schedules, design intent, and constructability requirements. Day‑to‑day activities include setting up and managing project standards, running coordination meetings, producing and reviewing model‑based documentation, and supporting teams with BIM tools and workflows. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of BIM processes, training team members, and ensuring compliance with company and client BIM standards. Qualifications Strong proficiency in BIM Coordination and Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model setup, maintenance, and clash detection. Background in Construction or related building design disciplines, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Experience coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) trades to resolve conflicts and support constructability in the model. Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and track BIM tasks, deadlines, and coordination milestones across multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with BIM and design software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate coordination meetings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. High attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, schedule‑driven construction environment. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
