This Stepdown travel nurse job in Wichita Falls, Texas, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at United Regional Medical Center. This role pays $1,980 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this Stepdown travel nursing job, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights (3x12)

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

Travel Stepdown Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Texas and national regulatory bodies.
