We are looking for a dedicated full-time faculty member to become part of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology within our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic academic environment, offering a comprehensive range of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

About the Department

Our department is a full-service tertiary care facility that includes:

• 30 physicians, both part-time and full-time
• 10 advanced practice providers
• 2 full-time genetic counselors
• 24 residents and 6 fellows
• Over 2,500 deliveries annually
• Annual outpatient clinic visits exceeding 18,000
• More than 2,000 general surgical cases and over 250 family planning procedures each year

We cater to a diverse patient population, including those with complex maternal and fetal co-morbidities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in hospital and home call coverage
• Engage in the education of medical students and residents
• Explore opportunities for clinical research

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
• Eligible for or currently licensed in New York State
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical abilities with a focus on patient-centered care
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Interest in teaching and a commitment to academic medicine
