Survey Crew Chief – Fairfax, VA Area
Join a well-established engineering and surveying firm seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations on a variety of land development, transportation, utility, and boundary survey projects throughout Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a survey crew on boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and utility surveys.
- Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
- Ensure accurate field data collection and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and office staff to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain survey equipment and uphold safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
- Strong experience with GPS and robotic total station equipment.
- Ability to read construction plans and survey plats.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
