Overview:Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world's largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Customer Support Representative - Pharmacy Operations. Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship Location: Cary, NC 27513 Duration: 3+ months contract w/ possibility of extension Work Schedule: Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote after training)Training Schedule (Training will be conducted onsite for approximately 9-12 weeks)o 6/15 - 6/19: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMo 6/22 - 8/7: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMPermanent Schedule (Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM)One Saturday shift every 5-7 weeks: Saturday hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMOne weekday off is provided during that weekJob Overview:Client is seeking a Customer Support Representative to support Pharmacy Operations by handling inbound and outbound pharmacy-related calls, scheduling refill deliveries, assisting patients with prescription-related inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate teams.The ideal candidate will have recent call center experience, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate empathy when assisting patients.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the primary resource for inbound customer calls related to: Prescription status, financial information, Refill needs, Insurance verification, Shipment statusHandle inbound and outbound calls to: Schedule medication deliveries; Collect payment information; Update customer profiles accuratelyRoute calls appropriately to clinical or operational staff to ensure prompt resolution.Run medical claims and document concise progress notes in the management systemAssist patients with refill scheduling and escalate clinical concerns to pharmacists or nurses when appropriateIdentify and report: Adverse Events (AEs); Product Complaints (PCs) Maintain professionalism, empathy, and customer satisfaction during all interactions.Required Qualification:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year of recent call center experienceExperience using information management systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional phone etiquetteStrong attention to detailAbility to demonstrate empathy with patientsAbility to work onsite during training and regular schedulePreferred QualificationsAssociate degree preferredCustomer service experience preferredMedical office experience or medical terminology knowledge preferredPharmacy experience preferredMedical claims experience preferredI'd love to talk to you if you think this position is right up your alley, and assure prompt communication, whichever direction.
