In this role you will report directly to the Plant Manager and will lead cross-functional teams to follow continuous improvementinitiatives focused on measurable results related to safety, quality, delivery,inventory and productivity improvements. This is a full-time, permanent position. Routine responsibilitieswill require you to: Assist Plant Manager inimproving manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvementtechniques. Posses a strong understanding of EHSdisciplines (Environment, Health & Safety) relative to continuousimprovement and Six Sigma projects Create, initiate and lead continuousimprovement projects throughout the plant operations Manage a portfolio of lean projectsdirected at reducing waste and improving quality and value Employ such tools as: 5S, KPI, SMED,VSM and Kaizen Drive the standardization ofprocesses and the implementation of metrics and best practices to drive desiredresults Effectuate a formal Six Sigmaprogram that targets reduction of process time and product variation usingtools like: SPC, SMED, DOE, Process Capability, Pareto Analysis and Fishbone Assist in setting and driving annualoperational targets Mentor and coach Green Belts Required Experience: B.S. / B.A. in Engineeringor Industrial related field REQUIRED 5-7 years experience inmanufacturing operations (preferably in plastics, rubber, chemical or medicalindustries) Six Sigma Black Belt certification with 3-5 years experience Proven track record leading highperformance teams and attaining results Excellent leadership and communication (verbal andwritten) skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, status as a protected veteran, disability or any other protected category as specified by applicable law or regulation.
