Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology

Job Details:

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU in Atlanta
• Manage care for critically ill and premature newborns in a high-volume NICU/SCN with 1,400–1,500 annual admissions
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists (including dual-boarded specialists in genetics), pediatric intensivists, newborn nursery pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and research nurses
• Deliver individualized, evidence-based care to medically complex newborns
• Participate in collaborative clinical decision-making for NICU patients
• Support newborn stabilization, treatment planning, and ongoing intensive care management
• Engage in a supportive, well-established practice with strong hospital and community integration
• Contribute to a fast-growing neonatal program with expanding coverage needs
• Work 24-hour NICU shifts with schedule flexibility included
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship in a high-acuity environment
• Current APRN national specialty certification required
• Minimum of a master's degree required
• Georgia Medical License or willingness to obtain highly preferred
• Neonatology training/fellowship required with no exemptions
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
