You'll work alongside friendly, helpful colleagues who are committed to supporting one another and providing high-quality care.How you'll contributeAn Quality Analyst RN who excels in this role:Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Assists the director in managing staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Assists the director by making presentations at various meetings including Quality and Safety Committee, New Employee Orientation, and others.May assist the director in monitoring departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.May provide patient care when necessary.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Additional requirements include:Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of hire.Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required. Previous performance improvement and/or large scale project management experience required. Demonstrated progressive leadership skills required.Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.Education: BSN preferred. Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) required.
