Job Title

Pay Rate: Travel: 87.00, Local: 84.00

Summary:

• Day shift: 7pm-7:30am, every other weekend required

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research.
• Deliver patient care using the Relationship Centered Care model and the nursing process.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for care planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.
• Engage in quality and safety practices and contribute to compliance measures.
• Participate in process improvement strategies and quality improvement projects.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and manage resources effectively.
• Document accurately in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal standards.

Requirements:

• NYS RN License
• BLS, ACLS, Tele, Ventilator certifications
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry and critical care experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel experience for travel positions

Preferred Skills:

• EPIC experience highly preferred
