Clinical Technician 2 - Medical Surgical 7th Floor Falls Church, VA, United States Job Description The Clinical Technician Inova Fairfax Hospital - Womens Medical Surgical is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. Clinical Technician 2- Job Responsibilities: Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Training : Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of: Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total) Virtual training modules. On-unit shifts May perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience : 1year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds About Us We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
