This contract role seeks four dedicated Special Education professionals to fill crucial needs: one Resource position and three Moderate/Severe (Autism) openings. These roles focus on delivering individualized instruction, fostering inclusive classrooms, and enhancing students’ academic and personal achievements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential for the state of California.
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with Moderate/Severe disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with staff, students, and families.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet varying student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
• Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and functional levels.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success.
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment, emphasizing independence and life skills for students with Autism.
• Track and document student progress, adjusting approaches when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a supportive school team.
