Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU / NCCU (Night Shift)

Location

San Antonio, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer and monitor vasopressors and other critical care medications and interventions
• Accurately document patient assessments, care, and outcomes using Meditech electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PCAs and unit coordinators to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to all unit guidelines, attendance policies, and dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience with vasopressor administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Meditech documentation system
• Experience in a Neurocritical Care Unit (NCCU) setting
