Description Full Time-Licensed Counselor Applegate Recoveryis anaddiction treatment program that providesmedically-supervisedservices for adults in a variety of modalities and settings. The licensed counselor willbe responsible foroffering support andassistanceto patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid usedisorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients developindi Individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enablethento experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors,nursesand a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care. Essential Job Functions: Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patientneed, bestpracticesand state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment. Conducts initial assessment and evaluation todetermineeligibility for services. Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment. Establish individualized treatmentplanwith each patient and review as clinicallyindicated. Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints. Develop aftercare and discharge plans. Other related duties asdeterminedby supervisor. Qualifications: Must bean LPPC, LICDC, or LICDC-S licensures (ifthere is nocounseling supervisor) LCDCII, LCDCIIIwith counseling supervision Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
