Role Description The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Oneida, NY. This role oversees daily maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Responsibilities include planning and assigning maintenance work, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and supervising maintenance technicians to meet production needs. The supervisor diagnoses equipment issues, leads troubleshooting and repair efforts, and collaborates with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance. Additional duties include maintaining maintenance records, supporting safety and compliance initiatives, managing spare parts and supplies, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task prioritization, and performance management. Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills for industrial machinery and facility systems. Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills, including planning, scheduling, and executing routine maintenance activities. Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and process issues. Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance supervision, preferably in metals, wire products, or related industries. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus familiarity with maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals and use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across production, engineering, and management teams.
