Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired on a virtual contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity spans from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with possible additional days for pre- or post-planning. You’ll partner with a forward-thinking school system to ensure each student receives tailored instruction, encompassing caseloads efficiently aligned to your expertise and preferences. Your interactions will play a key role in empowering learners with visual impairments to thrive.

This is a fully remote, full-time position that delivers essential services while streamlining documentation through daily logs, instrumental in tracking each student’s progress.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Educator Certification specifically for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs)
• Proven experience in delivering virtual TVI instruction within a school setting
• Comfortable with technology and maintaining daily service documentation logs
• Collaborative, adaptable, and dedicated to individualized student achievement

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instructional support for visually impaired students, adapting materials and methods as needed
• Partner with other educators and staff to implement student-specific support plans
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and team members
• Maintain accurate daily logs of all provided services
