Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Georgia Educator Certification for Teachers for the Visually Impaired
• Documented experience as a virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired within a school setting
• Experience using digital platforms for instruction and documentation
• Skill in maintaining detailed daily logs to capture service delivery
• Professional, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with visual impairments virtually
• Collaborate with school staff and families to coordinate effective student services
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily logs documenting all services provided
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs based on caseload and placement following the interview process
• Participate in planning days as required
