Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Georgia Educator Certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Proven experience offering virtual TVI services in school settings
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining daily service documentation logs
• Commitment to high standards in remote educational support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with visual impairments virtually, adapting lessons to various grade levels and learning needs
• Collaborate with district personnel to determine appropriate caseload and student placement, ensuring students’ needs align with your experience and preferences
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all student services and communications as required
• Participate in pre- and post-planning activities, as well as ongoing communication with school/district staff and families to optimize student outcomes
