The Large Loss Restoration Project Manager reports to theGeneral Manager with accountability forproviding excellent service for those who have been victims of disaster and for restoring property and lives with a servant’s heart. The Large Loss Restoration Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing large and/or complex construction jobs. This person manages deadlines, progress, and quality on multiple projects simultaneously. Job Responsibilities Large Loss Restoration Project Manager plans and executes the construction of structures based on a scope of work written by an estimator Manages all employees and subcontractors on the jobsites Communicates effectively to set and manage client expectations Large Loss Restoration Project Manager works with the client to execute changes in the scope, price, and timeline Oversees all aspects of jobsite safety and quality while conducting weekly site inspections Large Loss Restoration Project Manager keeps a well-planned out schedule and budget for each project based on the contract scope of work Works with the estimator and client to secure the proper plans, permits, and inspections per the local building department Responsible for invoicing and collection of funds per contract All other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School diploma or GED required; 2+ years of construction estimating experience; equivalent combination of education and experience Restoration industry experience preferred Basic math skills (equivalent to those needed at a GED level) Regularly required to climb roofs, crawl into confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, which includes being able to carry a 28’ ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line of the associated property Excellent customer service and communication skills using English language Great attitude, trustworthy, dependable, and a pleasant personality Able to pass a background check, driving record check, and regular employee drug screenings Language Skills The Large Loss Restoration Project Manager must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language. Technical Skills To perform this job successfully, the Large Loss Restoration Project Manager should have knowledge of industry related software be able to “touch type” and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); able to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps. Additional Requirements All positions that require driving will require the employee to be 21+ years of age for safety compliance. Reasoning Ability The Large Loss Restoration Project Manager should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is also frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The Large Loss Restoration Project Manager is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
