Position Summary

Los Angeles Cold Storage Company seeks an AR/AP-Bookkeeper to join the team!

The candidate will interface directly with multiple customers, including inter-departments throughout the workday via phone and email. This is a full-time in-office position, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of business math and accounting principles, excellent communication skills, a self-starter and the ability to work independently while supporting the Management Team. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• • Maintain aging reports from daily payments
  • Reconcile payments, including unauthorized deductions
  • Perform customer collections, including demands for payment as necessary
  • Keep organized filing systems and accounting records
  • Maintain existing complex Excel spreadsheets and create new worksheets as needed
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

• • 2-3 years Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
  • Customer Service experience including communicating effectively with customers and internal departments regarding account related matters with professional and responsive service throughout
  • Experience working in a PRW environment along with knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and/or similar industry a plus
