Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health, PRN

Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Provide medical oversight, care, education, and guidance to the youth in your care. Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department and your buy-in to the culture of the organization. A typical day consists of medication administration oversight, medical file record keeping, responding to client medical needs, and working directly with the psychiatrist to provide professional nursing care. Work on an as needed basis, with a minimum of 4 shifts per month. What does this position offer? Starting Pay Range: $35.00-$38.00 hourly Minimum Qualifications / Requirements Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in. Education requirement for this individual contributor role: Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field. No minimum number of years of relevant professional experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills. Requires a license as an RN in North Carolina.
